About Social Video Downloader
Paste a public video link from YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, or X (Twitter). GitCircle detects the platform from the URL, loads a preview, and lists downloadable streams with resolution labels and estimated file size when the host provides it.
Downloads are proxied through GitCircle so your browser is not blocked by CDN CORS rules. Only use this for content you have the right to save, and follow each platform’s terms of service.
How to use it
- Copy the share link from the social app (watch page, reel, or status URL).
- Paste it into Video URL — the platform badge updates automatically.
- Click Get download options (or press ⌘/Ctrl + Enter).
- Preview the clip, then pick a quality row and click Download. Use Preview on a row to switch streams.
Supported platforms
YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter).
Limitations
- Private, login-only, or geo-blocked media may fail — the extractor only sees what a public page exposes.
- Instagram and Facebook layouts change often; if a public reel fails, try again later or use the canonical share URL.
- YouTube age-restricted or members-only videos may not return streams.
